Tips for going LIVE on Facebook!

1. Give it a title / description that will grab attention. 
    
2. Make sure your live is set to PUBLIC for max viewers.
    
3. Start your Facebook Live with energy! If you have low energy or you are boring then why would people watch.
    
4. Share what you are going to talk about immediately when you go live. Your audience has a very short attention span so you need to give them a compelling reason to watch your video and keep watching. 
    
5. Do NOT wait to get started and say .... "let's just wait for some people to get on"... The majority of your views are from replay viewers... so immediately start talking and welcome everyone who's watching and get right into your topic.  You can ask if they are watching LIVE or the replay. 
     
6. Be REAL. Stop stressing the mistakes. Think about it ... we all love it when someone's kid runs in during a live because it is real.
    
7. Encourage people to comment right away and throughout your LIVE to boost your engagement by asking questions.
    
8. Do not read notes. If you need to have a few bullet points that you glance over to help you stay on track, I would suggest having them on your computer close to the camera but definitely don't read from anything. You need to speak from the heart.
    
9. Go LIVE at least once a week.... people need to see you!
    
10. Once you finish going live, boost your views and exposure ... 

• Share your video in several home business related Facebook groups.
• Send it out to your FB friends asking them to watch it. 
• Email the link it to people.
• Share it to your stories.

Bring someone on to your LIVE:

• This ads an exciting dynamic when it's not just you and there's a special guest on your live with you!  
• This could be you interviewing someone or having them share a business or product testimony. 
• Send messages out to your FB friends so they can jump on and watch live. 
• Do a FB post the day before and/or a few hours before so your friends know.
• You must be using your cell phone... computer/ iPad will not work for a dual live. 
• You will start the live from your phone and then "invite" your guest to jump on with you.
